http://www.cprmd.org/myths/myth_fact_010.htm - this is a disturbing page with a clear homophobic and religious bent. It cites data (even from Psychpage.Com) on the seriousness of domestic violence, but presents that "the made-up word 'homophobia'" is not a problem "since 90% of all violence acts towards homosexuals are done by other homosexuals". I offer it here as a point for concern; facts are facts and amoral, but how people present them is another issue.
A similar page is set up at http://www.afamichigan.org/releases/20001129a.htm. While I appreciate their evaluation of me as a "renowned" psychologist, they totally ignore that in the paper of mine they reference, I list in detail the general social factors that lead to domestic violence in both gay/lesbian and heterosexual relationships, as well as the harmful impact of social and religious prejudice as causes for any increases in violence seen in gay/lesbian couples.
