I kiss Akismet
Akismet is a plugin for Wordpress that catches and blocks spam. It has allowed the two real comments to get through, and blocked 120 spam posts, mostly to Russian (.ru instead of .com or net) porn sites. Many others seemed to be Chinese or Japanese sites.
I barely have time to blog, but certainly wouldn’t have time to individually delete 120 spam postings.

I happened on the “Mental Status Exam” page and found it to be thorough, in a friendly way. The article jogged my memory and got me on my way. I started exploring the website to see if I could learn what else is available and who might be presenting this fabulous resource, and stumbled over to your blog. I’m sending a comment to let you know that I REALLY appreciate your info about the application to eliminate spam in Wordpress…I’ve had more than my share and didn’t know such a utility existed.

I have a blog that I don’t have time to keep up and a website that has had to have a makeover once already, mostly because I designed the first run. A very nice young lady has taken over that project and what a relief! One person can only do SO MUCH.
I look forward to exploring your website and blog more, and I will certainly look up that application to fix my spam problem on my blog.
