What Every Illinois Psychologist Should Know
Back to Student Resources
In preparing my lectures for the Ethics and Professional Issues course I'm teaching this summer, I came across a number of documents on the web and learned a number of things that every Illinois Psychologist (and some from other states) should know. Some documents I found on my own, and some were thoughtfully suggested by Dr. Michael Bresolin from the Illinois Psychological Association.

These pages are mostly done, with a few additions I'll make in the next two weeks. Check back then, or, if you have a piece of information you want other psychologists in Illinois to know, pass it on to me and I'll consider posting it here.

I should note here, however, that what is below is some of my understanding of the Practice Guidelines and Illinois law. I am not a representative of APA or an attorney, and if your practice is applicable to the guidelines below, or if you practice in Illinois, you are responsible for reading the relevant guidelines and law yourself.
