The following questions are based on an eight year study published by Cerrere, Buehlman, Gottman, Coon, and Ruckstuhl in the Journal of Family Psychology Vol 14(1). They researched ways to predict continued marriage or divorce in a "normal" sample of the population. The original study misclassified only 12% of couples, but used a more complex oral interview to achieve this level of accuracy. The results obtained here may not be as accurate, and are provided only as a way to explore your feelings about yourself, your spouse, and your marriage.
